Philosophy in life:
Random acts of kindness. If the Starbucks Barrista gives me a free latte because I just spilled one all over the floor (true story), my day is made. I experience equal joy by holding the door for someone behind me or giving them my paid parking ticket as I leave my spot. These daily “nice things” are what life is really about.
Reason for living:
My husband is the love of my life and my kids make my heart overflow with love and laughter every moment of every day. I am very blessed to have my awesome family, friends and other support network close by.
Geez, that is an impossible to answer because while I LOVE food, a fun atmosphere is just as important. The last awesome restaurant I went to was Boehmer on Ossington. The food was amazing; the service was excellent; and the atmosphere was just hip enough.
South Africa. The people, landscape and food were fabulous. Too bad though that I couldn’t go on safari or on a wine tour since I was 5 months pregnant at the time. I have traveled the world alone, with my husband and now with my family. I try to learn as much as I can about different cultures and their traditions while on trips. While traveling is always exciting, I come home and feel so fortunate to live in a social welfare state where so many kind and generous people live.
Worst real estate experience:
I turned the gas fireplace on for the open house and the auto lock door shut behind me while my purse and the house key were safely inside. This happened during my first month in real estate. The builder of the house told me he would come later on that evening. I was mortified, but I learned a valuable lesson. I think it is important to keep your eyes and ears open every day. There is always something new to learn, especially in real estate!
